If you enjoy having a a beverage every so often, keep your cash at home if you plan to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Empty your purse, your billfold, and leave all cash, plastic credit and cheques back at the hotel. Grab whatever cash you expect to use on beverages, tipping and few dollars you expect to squander and leave the remainder behind.
Cynical? Absolutely not. Just realistic. You could have a profit after a drunken night out with your comrades and be lucky enough to hook a marathon toss at a smokin craps table. Hang on to that story because it is as short-lived as it gets if you consistently drink and bet. The pair just do not mix.
Leaving your moola out of the casino might be a little dramatic, but preventative actions for excessive behavior is a requirement. If you bet to win, then don’t drink and gamble. If you can afford to blow your money without a concern, then drink all the gratis alcohol your stomach are able to handle, but don’t take charge cards and checks to throw into the mix of chasing squanderings after your dead drunk brain loses every little thing!
Allow me to take this one step more. do not drink alcohol and then hop on to the internet to play in your preferred casino either. I enjoy a beer from the coziness of my house, however since I’m linked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep credit cards in close proximity, I can’t drink alcohol and bet.
Why? Although I don’t drink to excess, when I drink alcohol, it’s certainly sufficient to befuddle my better judgment. I bet, so I don’t drink when betting. If you are more of a drinker, don’t bet when you do. When mixed, both create a dangerous, and costly, drink.
