I have been wagering on the web or at land based gambling halls for a great many years. I have learned, the fixation usually will take a hold of you and you will not even notice it till you are beaten. Especially if you are on a profit streak. I have been through countless tens of thousands of dollars in only a tiny period of time and still on occasion, I sometimes go too far. It feels like you are just enjoying yourself up until you make a decision to consider your loss and the blame settles in, and of course you keep advising yourself "I can earn the funds back" ad nauseam. It never works. Then you feel icky in your stomach and the more you try the quicker you spend.
When you see that you are in the black, Remain in the Black! When you begin to relinquish, don’t convince yourself, "well just 1 more" and again and again, trust me, this method almost never ever works. Say you are wagering on one armed bandits, keep a number set aside prior to starting your gambling. DON’T exceed that threshold, no matter how tempting. If you happen to win, put the winnings in a different pot. Do not risk your payouts at any cost. Once you have played through your beginning predetermined cutoff, stop. Back off, regardless if it is on the internet or at a brick and mortar gambling hall, do not stick at the tables or machines. Make sure to keep in mind, there certainly is another day, another time. Obviously, this scheme can work for any game that you bet on, be it bingo, poker, video poker, keno, 21 or any other casino game.
Remember, betting should be FUN not exhausting, appalling work! If you are not having fun yourself, you don’t belong there. If you cannot pay for the hit, don’t even begin.
